Guest guest
I’m looking for a gluten free savory scone recipe. I’ve searched the net and found one – tried it out – was “ok†Want one that someone has actually tried – can anyone suggest one? Scones are a bit of a staple food in New Zealand, we make sweet ones and serve them warm with jam and savory " cheesy " ones served with margarine. I believe they might be the same thing you guys call " biscuits " in the US. " Biscuits " is our word for " cookies " - we never use the word " cookies " here! Guest guest
Yes, scones in the US are like muffins. In Canada they are fried yeast bread. Biscuits are what you want in North American lingo!
