Guest guest
My discount place has a bunch of brown rice on clearance, but it's already past the sell-by date. Will keeping it in the freezer prevent it from going rancid before I have a chance to use it? Thanks. Daniel
Guest guest
I wouldnt buy it if there are tears in the original packaging and they scotch taped it or anything like that. You wont know how it was handled by the store prior to going on sale there. But if it looks ok - no evidence of bugs and obvious dirt and dust - it should be fine. might buy one package and make up enough for dinner and if it checks out then go back and get more for the freezer.
