Guest guest Posted December 31, 2009 Report Share Posted December 31, 2009 Cherry Compote 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup water 300 g (10 1/2 oz) fresh -OR- frozen cherries, pitted, halved 1. Place sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes or until thick. 2. Add cherries and simmer for 1 minute more or until heated. Remove from heat.
