Holiday cookies for all!

There are few foods that bring us back to childhood memories like holiday

cookies. Whether baking from your favorite recipe and filling your home with the

aroma of fresh-from-the-oven treats, or decorating with friends, enjoying sweet

and sticky frosting, we know we can expect giggles, fun and delicious sweetness.

Pamela has put together cookie decorating ideas for all kinds of occasions.

Don't worry if you don't have time, we've got you covered for quick and easy

prep as well as home baking. We just hope you'll take some time to relax with

friends, loved ones and the children in your life to decorate holiday cookies!

 

 

 

 

 

Gingerbread houses and people

Don't forget about the gingerbread! Create your own gingerbread house using our

easy recipe and template. Pamela created a special recipe just for houses. She

made it extra strong, hopefully it will withstand all kinds of winter storms,

including little hands pulling at the pretty candies. And who's going to live in

your gingerbread house? Well your delicious gingerbread people of course! Pamela

has an easy and delicious recipe for creating your own gingerbread characters.

Get creative, find special cookie cutter shapes that inspire fun and giggles.

 

 

 

 

 

Cheesecake Update!

It's not too late to get Pamela's Cakes & Cheesecakes for the holidays. Find

stores near you by checking our website. Be sure to place your order at Amazon

by 2pm on Monday, December 21st to ensure delivery before Christmas. We'll also

send out updates on facebook and twitter. Let your favorite stores know that

We've mentioned Gluten Free Frenzy before. Last month they gave away two huge

Pamela's tote bags filled with Pamela's Products to two lucky winners. This

month, we were excited to learn that they're posting 25 Days of Cookies. That's

a new cookie recipe every day for 25 days! What a fun way to find even more

Meet Marion~

Hi, everyone! Hope that your Thanksgiving was a happy and delicious one!

Our family had the usual fare – turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn

soufflé, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli with cheese sauce and GRAVY!! Yum.

The desserts were traditional - pumpkin pie - apple pie... with the exception

of the “throwdown†between cousin Michael and Aunt Susanne with their

dueling apple pies. After much careful deliberation, Aunt Susanne’s pie was

the hands down favorite! Better luck next year, Michael! But I must say, the boy

made one heck of a delicious and juicy turkey for the mob... great job! In

addition to the pies, my contribution to the dessert table was Pamela's Sour

Cream Coffee Cake... so much dessert... so little time. It was a great

accompaniment with the seasonal menu – cinnamon-y sweet crumbs with nuts

topping off a moist and melt-in-your-mouth cake. Family, friends and Pamela's...

perfect for the Holidays!

Next stop... Christmas – Pamela's Pancakes with added bananas, sliced almonds

and a touch of cinnamon or French Toast made with Pamela's Bread Mix and/or

Cinnamon Swirls - would be a perfect way to start the day.

Get the whole family involved and MAKE EVERYTHING! Ho! Ho! Ho!

If you are in the Boston area, please come over to the Children’s Hospital

on Sunday, December 6th for their Celiac Support Group’s Holiday Party. As

usual, I’ll have lots of goodies for you to try... and some to take home!

I would like to take this time to wish all of you a blessed, safe, healthy and

happy Holiday Season. It has been a pleasure to meet many of you throughout the

year and I look forward to seeing you all again in 2010!

Picture of the Month!

We want to thank our friend Stephanie for sending in this yummy looking plate of

chocolate cupcakes made with Pamela?s Chocolate Cake Mix. she made these for her

dear friend's 33rd birthday scrap booking party with all of her friends, where

the birthday gal was surprised with these cupcakes to share. Stephanie

reports that everyone at the party " had to ask " These are REALLY gluten-free? "

They taste so delicious! "

And she really knew they were good when her own troupe of picky eaters, yes

children, 3 and 5 years old " gobbled them up without batting an eye! "

We've sent Stephanie and her clan a care package of cookies, baking mixes and a

few Pamela's " just for fun " items. That's our way of saying thank you for

celebrating your dear friend's birthday with us and sharing it too.

Recipes of the Month~

It is officially holiday season and food is central to many celebrations. Below

are some of our favorite recipes that might be great to create for a gathering:

- Buttery Coffee Cake - Alright, you might think of coffee cake, but this is so

delicious it's a must!

 

- Blueberry Corn Pancakes (pictured) - Fresh from the griddle, hot and delicious

anytime of day.

 

- Carrot Cake - This exceptionally delicious cake also travels well, great for

potlucks and finger snacks.

 

- Pamela's Crepes- Filled with fresh fruit or savory herbs and cheese, crepes

are deceptively easy.

 

 

 

 

 

Final Note:

The holiday season is more than just the many holidays and get together's this

time of year has to offer, it's the transition from Autumn to Winter, it's the

end of one year and the start of another, it's a time to nest, express your

gratitude toward your loved ones, and create memories to last a lifetime. We

hope that our holiday menu, breakfast menu, and snack and cookie menus are all

helpful and enjoyable additions to your celebrations.

So, take a moment, take a relaxing moment, with those you love and enjoy the

food you love and have a happy holiday and peace in the new year. And, remember
