Guest guest
Just a note...the icing sugar usually contains a lot of corn starch...so if you are allergic....put reg sugar in the blender and make your own...that's our way. , " bearhouse52000 " <bearhouse5 wrote: > > Basic Icing > > > 250 g (9 oz) vegan margarine, at room temperature > 3 cups icing sugar > 2 to 4 tablespoons non-dairy milk > 4 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest > > > 1. Guest guest
In Australia we have 2 choices for icing sugar and both are readily available in all supermarkets: - Pure icing sugar which is 100% sugar - Icing mixture which is sugar and starch. One of the leading brands uses tapioca starch. Not sure about other brands. We also don't have the issues of sugar not being vegan due to the bone char filters that many companies in the US use.
