Guest guest Posted November 14, 2009 Report Share Posted November 14, 2009 Yellow Rice 1 1/2 cups long-grain white rice 2 teaspoons ground turmeric 1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander (cilantro) 1. Place rice and 3 cups cold water in a medium saucepan over moderate heat. Add turmeric; bring to the boil. 2. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 15 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Stand, covered (do not lift lid), for 5 minutes. 4. Fluff with a fork. Add coriander (cilantro); season with salt. Stir to combine.
