Guest guest Posted November 8, 2009 Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 Tomato Chilli Sauce 4 teaspoons olive oil 1 medium brown (yellow) onion, finely chopped 1 garlic clove, crushed 400 g (14 oz) can chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce 1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook onion, stirring, for 5 minutes or until softened. 2. Add garlic. Cook, stirring,for 1 minute. 3. Add tomato and chilli. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened. 4. Transfer to a bowl. Cool. Serves 4.
