Two scientific journals Current Biology and Nutritional Ecology recently reported that until recently, it was thought that all spiders were strict predators. However, an exception is now known: Bagheera kiplingi, a Neotropical jumping spider that is predominantly herbivorous. The main diet of this spider is leaf tips from a type of acacia.
