Guest guest
I'm thinking about ordering a whole bunch of GF flours and grains from Barry Farms (online). I spoke to someone from their company yesterday and she said that they buy their products in bulk and then individually bag them into smaller amounts. She said that everything is bagged in the same area BUT they do the GF products first. And inbetween each new product, they wash down the area AND they always use new scoops (they must go through a ton of scoops!). I think she said that all of their GF products are ordered from dedicated GF mills. She also said that you could put a comment in the comment section of the order form to explain that if anything even remotely has a chance of cross contamination to not include it in your order. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience ordering from them. If so, have you been happy with their products? Guest guest
I've ordered from them Ellen and I have not had any problems with their products. The prices are very good, but the shipping is high! It's comparable to Bob's Red Mill in my experience... but I used them a LOT when I first went GF and I liked the company! ;-) Hope that helps!
