100g cubed steamed pumpkin (a dense flavoursome greyskinned pumpkin is best)

2 cl garlic

400g can chickpeas, rinsed

1t cumin pdr

2T peanut butter

2T lemon juice

2-3T olive oil

1/2t salt

water to thin if needed

Blend or process.

grey-skinned pumpkin is best)

2 cloves garlic

400 g (14 oz) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed

1 tsp cumin powder

2 Tbsp (6 tsp) peanut butter

2 Tbsp (6 tsp) lemon juice

2 to 3 Tbsp (6 to 9 tsp) olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

water to thin, if needed

 

 

Blend or process.

Sounds yummy!

 

 

For years, I've made hummus in my blender, and toss in other ingredients like a

can of black olives or roasted red peppers. I also use fresh spinach and people

think I've made guacamole.
