I am helping out my BIL and his daughter, whose (grand)daughter has

just received her Alcat results. Her allergens are:

black pepper

cauliflower

turkey

apples

bakers yeast

beef

cane sugar

cinnamon

corn

cow milk

egg white

mustard

orange

rice

string bean

vanilla

gluten

Now I'm familiar with vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, corn-free,

and no oranges. I want to help them out and I can see that sugar and

yeast will be challenging, and of course black pepper will mean no

restaurant eating. The rice means that most commercial gf products

will be out. Anyone have any advice on any of these?

Try looking into Specific Carbohydrate Diet ..SCD.

Sometimes you just have to find what works best for you out of all that is

out there !

Takes time to search and find... but worth it many times

I was wondering about that, but was thinking that most of the recipes

include eggs. I'll check it out.

Many recipes do on SCD ...but I had gleened from their site what would work

for me as I do with most things... Being diabetic the gf breads and such

are difficult to manage my blood sugars. Going gf helped but now am

working towards being fully vegan.

I will definitely run through SCD recipes and see what I can pick out.

And raw diets should be helpful too.
