Guest guest Posted June 16, 2009 Report Share Posted June 16, 2009 One thing I have used successfully in dessert recipes that have some liquid in them is undiluted frozen apple juice. It gives a slightly sweet taste without the concentrated sweet flavor. I've used it (plus a little starch) in fruit pie fillings that need just a little extra sweetening. Also in cakes.
