Guest guest Posted April 13, 2009 Report Share Posted April 13, 2009 Apple Chutney 3 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, finely chopped 2 fresh small red chillies, seeded, thinly sliced 2 medium red onions, finely chopped 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup red wine vinegar 1. Combine all ingredients in a large microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave on High (100%) in 2-minute bursts, stirring, for 10 minutes or until mixture is thick. NOTE: Take care when removing chutney/rom microwave - bowl and chutney will be very hot. 3. Cool to room temperature. 4. Store chutney in an airtight container in fridge for up to 1 week.
