Guest guest
This sounds really good! Do you know if regular canning will work with a crockpot? I've been thinking about that as I got another crockpot for christmas instead of the pressure cooker I wanted! It's a nice giantic one that the jars will easily fit into and the lid forms a nice seal. Has anybody tried canning in a crockpot? I can't wait to try these cakes either way! If they are as good as they sound, serving size: 1! lol On Sat, Apr 11, 2009 at 7:56 AM, Jennifer Lewis <gizbaby123wrote: > > > Crockpot Applesauce Cake > > Source: MasterCook / changed to be gfcf > Recipe By :JUDY GARNETT PJXG05A > Serving Size : 10 > > Ingredients -- > -------- ------------ ------------ --------- --------- -- > 1/2 cup GF/CF Butter/Margarine > 1 cup Brown sugar > 1 cup Applesauce > 2 1/2 cups GF/CF Flour Mix > 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda > 1/2 teaspoon Salt > 1 teaspoon Baking powder > 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon > 1/2 teaspoon Ground cloves > 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg -- (opt.) > 1/4 teaspoon Allspice -- (opt.) > 1 cup Walnuts -- chopped > > In bowl cream butter; gradually add sugar to the creamed butter. > > Thoroughly mix until fluffy.
