Guest guest
Can somebody tell me what I could sub for soy sauce? What about worcestershire sauce? We are dairy/corn/gluten/soy/tomato/potato/coconut and citrus free. I'm trying to make stuffed peppers that call for worcestershire and a beef noodle soup that calls for soy. I also want to do lettuce wraps but I see they call for soy. I've also been trying to find a gluten free flour mix that doesn't contain corn or potato. I saw this one posted in a previous recipe. 1 cup sorghum or chickpea flour 1 cup tapioca starch 1 cup potato starch, corn starch or arrowroot (I'd use arrowroot) 1/2 cup amaranth, millet, quinoa or oat flour 1/2 cup fine brown rice flour 3/4 cup sweet rice flour Would this work for most recipes that call for an all purpose GF flour mix? I'm looking to make stuff like zucchini bread, pumpkin bread, etc., but most of the flour recipes I see call for potato starch or flour. One more question. What subs well for lemon juice? I want to make hummus but we can't do lemon. Thanks Amy
