Guest guest
Nancy, that is very interesting. They both seem to me to be archetypal messages to us as human beings: that our deep Inner Wisdom comes from our instinctual natural, as symbolized by various animals like the hard-working ant or the free-as-a-bird. In other stores, it is a white horse, a whale, or a tortoise and hare. :-) How's THAT for off-topic! :-) Happily trailing away on a tangent, Deborah I love this story!! It sounds like the myth of Psyche and Cupid, in which Psyche had to sort a huge pile of mixed grains and seeds. Only she had the help of ants, not birds! pdw wrote: > My grandmother used to feed bread crumbs to the birds.
