Guest guest
We'll be travelling to San Francisco and to the Santa Rosa (Sonoma/Napa) area in a few weeks. It'll be the first time we've travelled without taking a suitcase and cooler full of food with us since we are just staying at a regular hotel. I'm a bit nervous about relying on restaurants so much, but it'll be a good experiment and I know there are many, many great restaurants there. We eat gluten/dairy/soy/refined sugar free (not exclusively vegan, but this group is exceedingly helpful for us). I am looking for really good, smaller restaurants that are not too fancy and do not have fixed menus so that we can have some flexibility. My 4 year old is very good at nice restaurants and likes to eat healthful food, but I think the French Laundry or Bouchon might be pushing it a little. ;-) I've heard Cafe Gratitude is great - with a menu like theirs we could eat there every day, so I think we'll be fine. Thanks for your other suggestions. Paula
