My response:

LOL! I LOVE THAT! I used " distraction technique " with my daughter when she was

small, but I hadn't thought of using it with " well meaning " adults. There's

lots of ways to do that. Simply asking the other person to talk about

themselves will usually do it, but I confess, I rather like this idea of calling

up an issue that will trigger an even MORE dramatic reaction than our eating

habits. :-)

I figure it is their guilt talking. They KNOW it would do them go and are in
