modified corn and medicine warning

Over the past few months I have had some anaphalactic shock reactions.

I've talked with my new GI doctor (who actually does his job! Listens,

tries to help, and explains/understands beyond a pill!) who sent me

for allergy testing. Of course the test came back negative so he can't

determine what is causing the reactions from my blood work. We had a

long talk prior to my blood work about how the digestive tract has

it's own eco system which is constantly changing and the elimination

diet is they best way to determine what food sensitivities are going

on. I noticed that I sometimes had reactions to corn based products,

which was one of the main things I wanted tested. So for the past

couple weeks I've been eating various products with corn to see how I

reacted, and I've discovered that the modified corn products cause me

problems! I've noticed Modified Corn Starch on a lot of labels lately too!

Just thought I'd share this in case anybody else has been going

through the same thing. When will scientist learn they shouldn't play

with our food supply!

Also, a few weeks back someone gave me a Bee M.D. cough drop in which

I had a very sever anaphalactic shock reaction from. I'm not sure what

is hidden in them, but I'd recommend avoiding them if you have food

allergies! They are all natural, organic, and supposedly help save

bees, but they nearly killed me! I know many on here have multiple

food allergies, and small children with allergies, so I just want to

throw a warning out there. Since we are getting into cold season,

please be very cautious with medications. Even all natural remedies

can be dangerous!
