Guest guest Posted October 23, 2008 Report Share Posted October 23, 2008 Chilli Salt 1 cup sea salt flakes 4 teaspoons dried chilli flakes 4 teaspoons dried garlic flakes 2 teaspoons dried ground paprika 1. Combine all ingredients in a small non-stick frying pan. Cook, stirring, over moderate heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until fragrant. 2. Transfer to a mortar and pestle; pound until crushed and combined. Salt will change colour slightly and take on pigment of spices. 3. Fill 1/2 cup spring-lock jars with salt. Attach a small spoon to complete the gift. Makes 1 cup.
