A DELICIOUS cereal, and need tofu ideas

This morning, I tried a version of Rip's Big Bowl, from the Engine 2 Diet book.

YUM!!!!! The stuff was so hearty and filling I had a hard time chewing it after

a few minutes, and I could NOT finish 1/2 bowl of the stuff. I ate it with the

new Silk brand vanilla almond milk, which is also delicious. I love the Engine 2

book, too--lots of man-friendly recipes in there for my husband to try. He

already said he wants to try that cereal I made. I made up a big bulk batch. I

didn't make it exactly like the book says, though, because I didn't have exactly

what he said to use. But I was very close to exact, really. I used equal parts

of:

old fashioned rolled oats (not the quick kind)

Uncle Sam's cereal

Arrowhead Mills bite size shredded wheat

Grapenuts (not the flakes)

Then I added in a few tablespoons each of raisins, ground flaxseed, and chopped

walnuts.

I stored it in a big plastic container with a lid. You could try adding in

different cereals, dried fruits, different nuts, etc. according to your own

taste. And Rip also adds in fresh fruit when serving the cereal, which I did not

do today. I loved the varying textures in this cereal!

Now my question. How do you prepare tofu? I am looking for a breaded and baked,

or fried version, or one marinated or with a sauce--something to serve for

dinner. I've used tofu before, but I've never made dinner items like this with

it. Thanks! Marilyn
