Guest guest
It seems a lot of us have children with food allergies, intolerances, or sensitivities. I wanted to share a website that I'm quite thankful for. http://www.allergykids.com/ On the right side of the webpage, under the heading, What you can do, there are several forms you can print and fill out for your child's teacher, principal, and classroom teacher. One form has a place for you to attach your child's photo. This has come in handy when our daughter's had a substitute teacher. The classroom parent letter is helpful in letting parents know about your child's needs and in the event of a party food, to make you aware so you can provide for your child to share in the fun. Asking parents of non-allergen kids to provide for your child can be overwhelming for most I've found. Especially if you add vegan to the list. I have had parents come and ask, " If I bring fresh fruit as a treat would your child be ok? " This gets you covered in either instance. Hope it's helpful for you all as well. ~Lina
