question about magnesium

I recently started giving my daughter (14) a magnesium supplement (250mg, in

addition to the 250 in her multi), to help with her PMS and cramping. Since she

started taking it, her mood has improved dramatically (my spouse is convinced

that she has a secret boyfriend). I am not complaining, living with a surly teen

is not fun, but I am wondering if it can be the magnesium.

Also, about a month ago, we restarted her on hemp oil for her attention issues,

and her acne (never severe) evaporated in about a week.

Yes, magnesium is a natural stress reliever and relaxant.  I drink " Natural

Calm " powder at night time which is just powdered magnesium.  I notice a

difference when I drink it as far as feeling calmer and sleeping better.  It's

a really wonderful supplement.  Some recommend taking it with calcium for

better absorption.  Glad it's working good for her!

Magnesium is amazing. I use it with my pregnant clients and also for my family.

Mag. Cl. is great to put into a bath at first sign of cold or flu. Foot soaks

work well. The other great thing it can be used for is to relieve pain or aches

in the body by applying it topically in a lotion or gel.
