Pumpkin and turbin squash

My father works at a green house that has a bit of a farmers market section. He

brought me home three pie pumpkins and a turbin squash. I am going to make a

pumpkin pie but I would like to try some other recipes out too. So please send

me your pumpkin recipes.

 

The turbin squash is very beautiful but I want to eat it, however I don't know

much about it or how best to prepare it. Does anybody know anything about it?

I imagine it is in the same family as the butternut, but am not 100% sure of

that.
