Guest guest
I appreciate your response! That is great advice. Although he doesn't often eat them, I have been continuing to offer my son vegetables and new foods over and over and tasting what I'm eating. What he does eat is good (fruits, yogurt, cheese, crackers, whole wheat bread) but I would just like him to get more veggies. I won't give up. Thanks for your encouragement. I'm new to the group. My name is Justine and I live in eastern NC. I have been vegetarian for 3 years and my son is also vegetarian (he's 18 months old). I was excited to find this group as I am trying to get myself and my family healthier by cooking more and learning more about vegetarian nutrition! > > I guess my first question is does anyone have any good recipe resources or cookbooks that they use to make yummy food for their kids that they will actually eat? Kids sure can be picky eaters, even though my son would eat anything when it came to baby food. I have also just not been very adventurous with cooking in the past. I'm not very good at it. > > Thanks in advance for all of the support and information I'm sure I'll gain from this group! > > Justine >
Guest guest
Hello, I'm new to this group and will post an introduction but saw your post and wanted to mention a book that I really like. It's vegetarian society approved and is called, 'Great Healthy Food for Vegetarian Kids' by Nicola Graimes. This book is quite good too despite being a bit old! http://www.amazon.com/Rose-Elliots-Mother-Baby-Toddler/dp/1904038093/ref=sr_1_4?\ ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1256582081 & sr=8-4 All the best!
