Guest guest
>I have heard that you crave foods that have the vitamins that you are lacking. Sometimes this may be true, but I craved processed sweets during my pregnancy (in addition to craving kale, and peanut butter onion sandwiches) and I don't think they would have done my body any good, so I just ignored the cravings for junk (as much as possible) and got on with it. Its hard! So I had a vegan pregnancy, and then I found that I craved meat after my daughter was born, as my body adjusted to breastfeeding. After 25 years of being vegan it was quite a surprise, but I just loaded up on analogs and the cravings passed. Nancy, I hope you have a happy, healthy, veg*an pregnancy!
