Guest guest
Someone just mentioned this movie and I watched the trailer found at the link given -- well, kinda watched it. I had to turn away for the majority but there was one image that I don't think will ever leave my heart or mind -- an animal (not really sure what it was because it was fast ... a dog like face, a deer?). I'm not sure and I will not watch it again. But they were skinning these poor animals -- they literally did this to this animal -- but the animal was still alive. And then you were looking at this sweet " skinless face " batting his eyes. It was haunting. But we all know that evil exists. It always has. But people who can do this to an animal have a very seared conscience in my opinion. I am vegetarian for all of the reasons possible -- and when I made the choice, an incredible sense of peace came over me that I was not expecting. I can only remember a single incident in my life, prior to my decision, that was proof that eating meat disturbed my soul. While in college, eating a chicken sandwich, I felt this sudden revulsion. But that didn't fit with my world-view at the time and I didn't know what a vegetarian was. So I " stuffed " the feeling and went on. I am thankful for the choice I have made for myself and my son. PEACE - from the Prince of Peace.
Guest guest
I watched the first 15 minutes of the movie, but had to turn it off. Workers in some place like Mexico or where ever put a living dog into a garbage truck like it was a bag of trash. I just bawled.... I couldn't watch any more.
