 1 1/2 cups (scant) (i use 1 1/4 cups) dry beans in a quart jar

fill with water to neck of the jar

1 tsp. salt, opt.

( i also add 1 large garlic clove and sometime a small bit of hot pepper pieces)

*pressure can 90 minutes at 11-lbs or hot water bath 3 hours.
