Greetings and best wishes from New Mexico, where it was actually light this a.m.

at 6:00; I was so excited. I am coming out of my winter hibernation/depression

mode, I think... first signed on w/F V in December I think. Am a lonely

vegetarian married to a carnivore Just wanting some contact with other

veggies... I was so shut down in December when I started searching for a

group, I chose y'all mainly because I like the name, graphic, and Tolkien quote!

Going to try that garbanzo bean salad (I love cuminn too!) next time I go

Albuquerque? Have you tried the restaurant Annapurna? I tried it years ago and

have been wanting to go back! Let's chat sometime about vegetarian rest in

Albuq, if you're here.

Hola, Esperanza! Nice to hear from you indeed. I'm in Bloomfield, NM, about

200 miles from ABQ but I do have a dear friend there whom I like to visit

whenever I can. I'd love to go to Annapurna; I'm familiar with a few of them

close to Taylor Ranch. Maybe we could meet sometime for lunch. I've been

avoiding the drive -- it's been so cold, and I drive an old (93) pickup truck,

pretty reliable, though one never wants to chance being broken down in freezing

temps! So, what part of N.M. do you live in? Best, Amy
