These are great served with a hearty winter stew or

soup. :)

Onion Cheese Biscuits

1/2 cup milk

1 egg

1 Tbs butter or margarine, melted

1 & 1/2 cups biscuit-baking mix *

3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1 Tbs poppyseeds

In a bowl, combine milk, egg and butter.

Add biscuit mix, 1/2 cup cheese and onion.

Spoon into six greased muffin cups.

Sprinkle with poppy seeds and remaining cheese.

Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until

a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.

Yield: 6 biscuits

*Bisquik brand works well, but we also have a recipe

in our files for a homemade bisquick version that works

even better and you know what is in it. ;)
