Guest guest
Girl you've got to try making it. It is to die for. I love Pecan Pie too and this one sets up so well. Make it when you have company so you aren't tempted to eat it all by yourself. LOL It will indeed call your name and you have to answer it's call to come eat it. ha ha ha Judy - Donnalilacflower Friday, December 04, 2009 7:42 PM [veg_grp] Pecan Pie I'm afraid of it Judy. I will eat the whole thing. I love pecan pie. Donna --- On Fri, 12/4/09, wwjd <jtwigg .
Guest guest
We made this at Thanksgiving and it turns out perfect. It couldn't be any easier. Enjoy, Judy Pecan Pie 3 eggs 1 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1 cup corn syrup 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups pecans 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie shell Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place deep pie shell in a 9 inch pie pan. In a medium bowl, gently beat eggs. Stir in sugar and flour, then the syrup, butter and vanilla. Fold in pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes; knife inserted in center of pie should come out clean.
