Guest guest Posted September 28, 2009 Report Share Posted September 28, 2009 Spicy Slow Cooker Apple Sauce a.. 8 apples or pears or both- peeled, cored, and thinly sliced b.. 1/2 cup water c.. 3/4 cup packed brown sugar d.. 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice a.. Combine the apples and water in a slow cooker; b.. cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Stir in the brown sugar c.. and pumpkin pie spice; continue cooking another 30 minutes.
