Guest guest
Hi Debbie Traditions are important. We all give thank for different reasons. I love pizza so I think it's a great tradition and far better than that big overstuffed bird that most people will be eating. Never be ashamed. What time do you want me at your house? ha ha Audrey - momad30044 Tuesday, November 17, 2009 6:48 PM Re: Thanksgiving - What's your going to be like? I'm almost ashamed to admit my Thanksgiving menu.... Our first Thanksgiving as vegetarians, I knew less than nothing. We went to my in-laws. She handed me a can of peas and said, " That's the best I can do. " We drove home the next day and I made a homemade pizza, we had a beautiful salad, garlic bread and pumpkin pie and a tradition was born. My boys are now 23 and 21, both still live at home (for which I'm eternally grateful!) and that's the meal they want. Debbie
Guest guest
Debbie, Thanks for sharing. Most " food " holidays, I would swish the food around on plate to make it look like I have eaten and pray for the day to speed up and go by. I have always found these holidays torture and always go home hungry. I am glad you had the opportunity to start a new tradition and it is embraced.
