Guest guest
Hi, Really don't know what we're doing yet. We haven't spent Thanksgiving with relatives for many years. My wife's father, while he was alive, occasionally visited us during the holidays. My wife and he had turkey or ham while I had my tofurkey or other non-meat item. In the last half hour I noted the following other things to do: The Plant Organic Cafe in SF is having Thanksgiving dinner. I only learned about this restaurant in the last month. I really must go there and have a meal. Roots - which is organic but both meat and vegetarian http://www.therootsrestaurant.com/images/Thankgiving.pdf That sounds good since my wife still eats meat. Speaking of Sharing - Cafe Gratitude is serving free Thanksgiving Dinner. You can volunteer to help. They are vegan - live/raw They have 4 restaurants - SF, Berkeley, San Rafael, Berkeley and Healdsburg. Millennium in SF is also having a vegetarian " supper " We've gone there several years in the past. For some bizarre reason, when reading through the earlier email about " torture, death, greed, selfishness and debauchery " Salo by Pier Paolo Passolini immediately comes to mind. It is one of my favorite movies but I don't watch it very often. . . . ;<) Gee, Harold & Maude comes to mind too. I think that's more about sharing though.
