Guest guest
This is such a great recipe I can't rave about it enough. We love to dip steamed or fresh veggies in it. The kids even like to use it as a sandwich spread so none of it goes unused. You just can't beat fresh homemade sauces and dressings for economical and delicious ways to dress up your meals. They add the special touch to even the most basic fare. Creamy Herb Dressing 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise 2/3 cup whipping cream 1/2 cup chopped green onions 1/2 cup freshly minced parsley 1 tsp vegetarian Worcestershire sauce 2 Tbs minced chives 2 Tbs lemon juice 2 lbs. fresh asparagus spears, trimmed In a blender, combine the first seven ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. In a skillet, cook asparagus in a small amount of water for 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain well. Spoon dressing over asparagus. Yield: 6 servings (2 1/2 cups dressing) ~ PT ~ No one is liable to make more mistakes than the man who acts only on reflection. ~ Vauvenargues
