My teens really love these. They will eat them for an

after-school snack and they love when I make them

with some soup recipes. It is such an easy recipe, too. :)

Cornmeal Cheddar Biscuits

1 1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup yellow cornmeal

2 tsp sugar

1 Tbs baking powder

1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup milk

In a bowl, combine dry ingredients; cut in butter

until crumbly.

Stir in cheese and milk until moistened.

Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes or until light gloden brown.

Serve warm.

Yield: 1 dozen

sounds delicious PT. I'm sure mine would too. Have you ever added garlic

powder to it. This recipe reminds me of some garlic cheddar biscuits I've had

before.

Yes, I have done that before and they do taste

so much like those yummy garlic cheddar

biscuits from Red Lobster restaurants.
