Guest guest
Have been getting a lot of greens, and it is challenging to use them all. Kale, Collards, Rapini (several different kinds). Generally I've been chopping them up and using as salad, also sauteing and adding to eggs. Tonight I mixed them with noodles, adding garlic and pesto...that was really good. What does everyone else do with greens? I could sure use some more ideas. Ellen
Guest guest
I just bought a small cuisinart food processor and have been enjoying the most delish tabouli with brown rice instead of bulgar wheat (on shopping list) and paul newman oil and vinegar salad dressing. Ultra simple, delish and streamlined fast recipe. I use a black and decker steamer for rice but what it does to asparagus, broccoli and cauliflower is also magical. It cooks them tender but without soggyness (sp?). I recommend highly. Ditto with the rice. Its so tasty made using that.
