Guest guest
I have mentioned these a few times in . I love these. Of course they are made with potatoes so they are up my alley. I don't microwave them. They cook in a small pan, 3 minutes on each side. Good in a bun or as a side dish. They are very inexpensive too. Enjoy them PT. I sure wish you had a Trader Joe's near you. Guest guest
Hey, Donna, great to hear from you! My daughter was over on Monday and she spied these in my freezer so we tried them. We cooked them as you recommended, in a pan with a bit of butter, then served on a bun with lettuce, tomato, sprouts, vegenaise.... Oh my! They were so yummy! We both loved the zippy masala spices, and especially the potatoeyness. That is my new word to describe them. *lol* I just may have to make a trip up to Eugene, OR soon to stock up on these. Maybe we can make our own version in a homemade recipe? ~ PT ~ , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > > I have mentioned these a few times in . I love these. Guest guest
That sounds like a great idea, PT. You and Donna get your heads together and come up with a recipe for those of use who don't have access to Trader Joe's. It's killing me hearing you all talk about them and not being able to try them myself ;-) Christie , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll wrote: >..... Guest guest
They're also excellent on a bun with mango chutney. The one I use is also from Trader Joe's; I believe it's mango ginger chutney. I'm sure anything similar would work just as well. , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll wrote: > > Hey, Donna, great to hear from you! > My daughter was over on Monday and she > spied these in my freezer so we tried them. > We cooked them as you recommended, in a pan > with a bit of butter, then served on a bun with > lettuce, tomato, sprouts, vegenaise....
