Guest guest
Dave An answer from Alpro. Jo - Marlow, Gillian 'Heartwork' Thursday, September 04, 2003 1:01 PM RE: Contact info Thank you for your enquiry. The Alpro "Chilled" dairy free alternative to milk has had the apple extract replaced with raw cane sugar. At Alpro, we are always striving to improve the taste of our products without compromising the nutritional benefits. Any change that we undertake to any of our recipes undergoes exhaustive consumer testing before a decision is made. In this case the new improved flavour came out of the testing as the overwhelming favourite, even over the original flavour. The apple extract "sugar" contained in the old recipe was 2.6g per 100ml serving (just over half a teaspoonful). The raw cane sugar now contained in the new recipe is 2.8g per 100ml serving, which again is just over half a teaspoonful. We have made no changes, nor are they planned, to our long life dairy free milk alternatives. They are still sweetened with apple extract, or are completely unsweetened. I do hope this information is helpful, and many thanks for taking the time to contact us. kind regards Customer Services Alpro (UK) Limited Tel: 01536 720605 Fax: 01536 725793 Heartwork [Heartwork]29 August 2003 23:32commercialukSubject: Contact info name: Kebbellfirstname: Jostreet: 5 Boundary Cottagescity: Chilworth, Guildford, Surreypostcode: GU4 8RRcountry: Englandtelephone: fax: email: Heartworkinformation: I have heard that the Alpro sweetened with apple juice will shortly not be available. Guest guest
They cut and paste them. Every reply I've seen from Alpro is much the same, only differing for the questions you ask. :-( Dave ----- Original Message from Heartwork ----- Dave An answer from Alpro. Guest guest
I'm sure it is. Have you tried the long-life Alpro? It's the one we use, but I expect it tastes different to the chilled versions. Jo - Dave Heartwork Friday, September 05, 2003 3:27 AM Re: Fw: Alpro - Contact info They cut and paste them.
