You're missing my point.

yer right..if i never had a cat..it wouldn't be a danger

then again, if i never left my haus, i would never be in danger of being mugged or hit by a car..well..i guess unless a runaway truck hit my haus....

You're missing my point. If your room-mate's cat hadn't been kept

there at all, then it wouldn't have been living in an area where there

was barbed wire. It wasn't the fact that it was allowed out, but that

it was kept in such an unsavoury area anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I am to some point playing devil's advocate here,

but if people didn't keep animals in areas so obviously unsuited to

them, then they wouldn't have to worry about allowing them out. I

maintain that it is people's want to have the animals as

companions/pets, that puts them in danger in the first place.

theirs..

they could get hit by cars, beaten by kids...chased by dogs...attacked by

other cats...catch diseases..

my old room mate let her cat out, and she lost her eye...i figure she miss

judged the wall at the neighbors..which has barbwire on it...not pleasant...

they also kill song birds and any other lil critter they can get their paws

on..more er less...

though, i can let my partner's hamsters loose in the living room, and lickey

won't even blink at them...

go figure
