Guest guest
Ah, Tammy don't take it personally. A little good sarcasm does take a certain measure of wit. I still can't believe anyone would possibly care if anyone ate meat flavored vege products, especially when it encourages people to go veg and directly saves animal lives. I agree, if we must judge, let's save it for meateaters, not vegans. No matter how far you have gone on the wrong road, turn back. -Turkish proverbFact: Each gallon of gas used by a car contributes almost 20 pounds of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. A single car driving 1,000 miles a month adds up to 120 tons of CO2 annually. Nah, don't worry, I can take it...and dish it out. Thanks for the support though. I agree, if we must judge, let's save it for meateaters, not vegans. Me neither. Even though, as I stated before, I do agree that meat substitutes are not the healthiest, I don't see any problem with eating them as a treat, just like chocolate, cookies, etc. I don't understand how some people can go Vegan, then go health crazy, and still enjoy eating. I'd get discouraged quick. By health crazy I mean those who will avoid sugar, fat, white flour, processed foods, etc, like the plague. Although I agree that all of those are bad if eaten regularly, nothing wrong with easing up a little from time to time. If we were going to try to avoid everything unhealthy, all the time, we'd have to quit breathing, literally, especially if we live in cities. It's hard enough to eat the way we do, why purposely drive ourselves more nuts. Of course, I enjoy food a bit too much and should follow my own advice more Take care, Tammy - Surya Burdick Friday, July 25, 2003 8:49 AM Re: animal foodstuff Ah, Tammy don't take it personally.
