Guest guest Posted May 24, 2003 Report Share Posted May 24, 2003 textured vegetable protein (tvp) is indeed soy...it is soybeans that have been processed to remove the oils, then dried.... the one draw back to many tvp's, is that they are processed using noisome chemicals to remove the oils.... not all of them, but a good many of them then again, i would hazard tvp is better fer ya then some rendered animal fat.. sorry if this question has been answered a billion times already, i haven't been able to get online all week basically, and wheee..my mailbox is full! oh the joy... fraggle Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
