Guest guest
Yes Jo, this gets frustrating for me as well, I wish sometimes people would take following Christ's teachings as a more important part of Christianity than "being saved". It is one reason I don't call myself Christian, it gives teh wrong impression of me when I mean I am someone who is following Christ's teachings. It has come to mean close minded, judgemental of outside religions, ect. to many people. It is like you said, when people say they are vegetarians and eat fish and wear leather, it makes it harder for those who are trying their best to follow the true path. Oh well, I have to remember I have my faults too, we are all just human. "Hi SuryaAs you say, there are bad elements in all groups of people, but it does not mean that every Christian (or Pagan etc) is bad. It is similar to someone calling themselves 'vegetarian' and eating fish - just because they have chosen to say that they belong to a certain group does not actually mean anything - other than they are not what they say they are (I hope I am making sense!) It is these people who give the group a bad name.Bright BlessingsJo" The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.
