I don't attend Christian meetings or worship because there are too many interpretations of the bible by mainstream Christianity that I interpret in a different way. Such as all people who are not Christians will go to hell, I believe that there are different teachings and Christ is a great teacher which is why I follow his. I do not believe a buddhist monk that has lived a compassionate and giving life would go to hell, nor would I be part of a heaven which would allow this. I am trying a Quaker meeting to see if I can find somewhat of a fit, it is the closet branch of Christianty to what I believe. I did attend a church for many years when I was younger called Self Realization Fellowship, which was a religion brought to America by an Eastern teacher, which incorperated Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, ect.
