Guest guest
I would say what smells worse rotting flesh or rotting vegetables. S --- Original Message ----- Surya Burdick Tuesday, April 29, 2003 3:54 AM A very rude question I am recently vegan from vegetarian and I have a very rude question, but I know this is the place to post it. I am really curious about this. Ok, lets ease into this by saying in the wild carnivorous animals and vegetarian animals pass gas, ect, but when a carnivorous animal passes gas or goes to the bathroom it stinks worse than a vegetarian animal. So do vegans have nicer smelling gas passing and bathroom sessions? lol, I can't believe i'm asking but I am curiuos whether there will be an effect. The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo. At the risk of being taken the wrong way... I guess it's all about personal taste!! :-) (I can't believe I just wrote that!) But seriously, the smell is definitely different after a few months of being vegan. I would say that it's not as pungent! Guest guest
From my experience !!!! vegans have better smelling waste-products than vegetarians who eat a lot of dairy or eggs, but I haven't noticed any difference between vegans and veggies who consume dairy occasionally. Guest guest
Right--humans have long digestive tracts, and we need fiber to push the stuff through. Meat has zero fiber, so it gets stuck in little pockets and rots (like it wasn't rotting when before someone ate it). Vegetable products, which have fiber, just move stuff through your system. As for the rude question, while I am as gassy as ever, I tend not to release the SBD farts.
