PLANT AMERICA'S FUTURE

Hundreds of community organizations around the country are

planting trees to enhance public land in both urban and

rural settings. To accomplish the task, they are taking

advantage of the National Tree Trust grant program called

Community Tree Planting. The program provides groups with

1-year-old, regionally appropriate, bare-root tree seedlings

in bundles of 100 per species for planting on public property

and along roadsides.
