Guest guest
I agree with you completely! Personally, I really do not care what people do behind their own closed doors. But do not expect me to believe all your promises and any statement you make when you swear up and down on something that turns out to be a lie! And make sure the closed door you are doing it behind is yer own. As I paid fer that office and that desk and I expect you to respect it and treat it with the respect and dignity it deserves. Not drag it down the sewer in front of all the world to see. Mind my own business it's yer personal affairs, fine. Not a problem. Just keep yer personal dirty laundry out of my house. Everyone kept saying " Oh, he wasn't lying to us, he was lying to his wife. Well don't use me to hide yer affairs pal. You swore and oath and then got caught lying. End of story. And then the public chooses to trust in and re-elect a man that lied to their face. <sigh> I know they are all crooks, but this guy was caught right in front of you! And we chose to look the other way. Hmmmm.... reminds me of when I use to eat meat and there would be a ground beef recall .... nikki , " Peter " <Snowbow@b...> wrote: > > The point is that a politician admitting an affair in Britain would not be > > forced to resign immediately because people are willing to accept that a > > person's private life is just that, and it does not affect their ability > to > > do their job (though many other factors obviously do, such as donors). > > Considering that their job is specifically to do what they have promised to > do in their election campaigns, I'd say whether or not they lie to people > they claim to love is very much a statement about their ability to do their > job. Guest guest
Nikki I totally agree with you. It's none of my business what people do, unless I am interested in them as lovers or politicians. Jo > Personally, I really do not care what people do behind their own > closed doors.
