Falafel Crudites

Source: Orgran Everday Health

 

 

1 packet Orgran Falafel mix

1 1/2 cups cooked rice

100 ml (6 3/4 tbsp) water

radicchio leaves for serving

cocktail sticks for serving

 

 

1. Place the Falafel mixture in a bowl and stir through the rice.

 

2. Add the water and mix it through and leave the mixture to sit for

10 to 15 minutes.

 

3. Roll into tiny bite size balls and deep fry about 20 at a time

until nicely browned, about 5 minutes.

 

4. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain then place

in a bowl and cover with a plate, this will keep them moist.

 

 

Alternatively bake in a covered baking tray in a preheated 180 C (350

F) oven for 15 minutes. Leave covered when they are cooked and this

will ensure they don't dry out.

 

 

5. Serve with Creamy Dip and Avocado Dip (recipes to follow).
