Guest guest Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 Beetroot Hummus Source: Orgran Everyday Health one 400 g (14 oz) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained 6 tsp tahini 3 cloves garlic 2 to 3 tsp lemon juice -OR- to taste 1 to 2 tsp ground cumin -OR- to taste 1/4 cup olive oil 3 to 4 baby beetroots, drained, cut into quarters salt and pepper, to taste 1. Place the garlic, beetroot and chickpeas in the food processor and process for 1 minute. 2. Add the other ingredients and blend for 1 to 2 minutes.
