Guest guest Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 Porridge with Mixed Berry Topping 1/2 cup certified GF oats 1 1/4 cups milk alternative 1/3 cup mixed dried fruit (apricots, apple etc.) milk alternative, to serve Mixed Berries Topping: 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries, thawed, 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar 1. Place oats, milk alternative and fruit in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to the boil. Cook, stirring, until mixture is thick and creamy. 2. Make Mixed Berry Topping: Place mixed berries, and vanilla sugar in a small bowl. Stir to combine. 3. Divide porridge between bowls. Top with Mixed Berry Topping. Serve with milk alternative of choice. VARIATION: Make porridge using other GF grains. See " Breakfast " recipes in the Files. Serves 2.
